Review of Conrex Property Management

houses for rent near me by owner

Conrex is a name you will likely have heard of if you are in property management. Conrex, which is headquartered out of North Charleston, South Carolina, has more than 500 properties. This means you get to see a lot of homes, as well as a lot of maintenance work. But that's not all. Learn about many other topics. Charleston residents are very concerned about their home's health. Conrex does all the hard work and even posts photos of their properties before tenants move into them.

One of the most exciting aspects of Conrex is that you can actually work in the company's office. The company employs four maintenance workers. They're tasked with keeping a home in tiptop shape for the hundreds of tenants that call it home. However, you won't get to spend much time with the team, as they keep a tight lid on all contact. You might not be able to talk with them all the time, and they may not always be in a friendly mood.

Conrex Property Management isn't a newcomer to the property management industry, having bought over 500 houses in Rankin County, Mississippi. Although they're well-known in the state, they aren't household names in North Charleston. Their four bedroom, three bathroom property is South Carolina's most exclusive. The company has had no difficulty filling vacancies so far.

Conrex's property management credentials are impressive enough to warrant an award for best in show. Conrex's website and mobile app are both well-designed. A well-stocked training room and a network of licensed brokers are other highlights. This is why it's not surprising that they're the best. A major Wall Street private capital firm has been hired as a financial backer. This is good news for long-term sustainability.

To get one of their exclusive properties, however, you will need a large sum. It's unlikely you will find better deals for that amount.

How do I replace a cracked window?

Replacing broken windows is one of the most common home improvement tasks. Repairing damage to glass within your home is the task. The repair should take approximately 30 minutes. The problem is that you might end up with further damage to your home if the glass pane breaks. This article offers some useful tips to replace a broken window.

First step: Take the glass out of its frame

First, take out all the screws that are holding the glass in place. Next, undo the lock in the middle of the bottom section. Next, pull the window up slightly so it's no longer attached to the sill plate (the metal bar below the floor). Use a plier to loosen any remaining screws. After the panes have been removed from the window, clean them well.

Second step: Clean the new glass

You can wipe any dirt off the glass surface with a towel or a dry cloth. A spray bottle filled with water, rubbing alcohol and water can be used to clean debris stuck beneath the glass.

Third step: Reinstall the new glass

Then, attach the window panes back into the frames. Begin by gently pressing down on one end of the outermost panel with the tip a screwdriver. Gently push down on the lower edge of the outermost pane with the tip of a screwdriver. After moving to the next one, push it firmly against your previous one before you reattach it. Continue inserting the panes until the entire window is assembled. You can seal the spaces where the panes meet using a silicone caulk pistol.

Fourth step: Repair the damaged area

When installing the new glass, inspect the area around the hole to determine whether any additional repairs are needed. If the break occurred near the corner of the window, install two small pieces of wood along each side of the hole. These wooden blocks will be strong and can also act as spacers, keeping the glass in its place during expansion and contract of the weatherproofing.

Fourth step: Sealing the area

After the glass has been replaced, apply a bead of silicone caulking to the perimeter edges of the window frame. This will create a good seal between the glass and the surrounding wallboard. Silicone caulking is available at hardware stores as well as online. It is important to match the color of the walls with silicone caulking.

Allow the caulking to cure overnight. You should not disturb the caulking after it has fully hardened. You may crack the caulking by not waiting long enough.
